I am an artist and designer splitting my time between Sunset Park, Brooklyn and the Southwest Catskills. I received my MFA in painting from the University of Massachusetts in 2006 and have spent the subsequent years making abstract paintings that investigate the nature and content of short-term memory.
Most recently I have expanded my studio practice to include weaving, hand-painted ceramic tiles, textile design and block-printing. All of my visual material and patterns originate from my abstractions of short-term memories.
My textiles are hand-dyed, hand-printed and hand-sewn by my own hands in my Catskills studio (pictured above).
